Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or systems-focused roles
  • Experience working with custom-built applications or internal systems
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Experience writing user stories, requirements, and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • A BA who is technically strong, not just process-focused
  • Someone comfortable working with developers and custom systems
  • Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting systems in operations, supply chain, or distribution environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL) and data structures
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for enhancements to internal custom applications
  • Translate operational needs into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Create user stories, workflows, use cases, and system documentation
  • Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and aligned with business objectives
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and development teams
  • Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and support solution design
  • Participate in system design discussions and provide business context
  • Support prioritization of features, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Analyze existing system functionality and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
  • Support continuous improvement of internal tools used across operations, warehouse, and distribution
  • Assist in troubleshooting system issues and identifying root causes
  • Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements
  • Support system releases, deployments, and post-implementation validation
  • Assist with user training and documentation
  • Support data analysis efforts to validate system outputs and business logic
  • Collaborate on reporting needs and ensure data integrity across systems
