About The Position

The Business Analyst supports operations by enabling day-to-day mission operations, production planning and supply chain execution, system and knowledge management, technical writing, and comprehensive metric reporting. This role serves as a core operational enabler by ensuring accurate tracking of deliverables, maintaining organized collaborative environments, and providing actionable analysis that improves operational efficiency, material flow, and leadership decision-making. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Production Planning, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations support, production planning, supply chain management, program analysis, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, computer, and record-keeping skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proven knowledge and practical understanding of data analysis, metric reporting methodologies, and creation of metric visuals and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); expert-level capability with Microsoft tools and related programs (to include SharePoint, Teams) and Adobe.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively brief personnel at varying levels of leadership and produce clear, accurate technical documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; familiarity with inventory control methods and production scheduling best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
  • Expert knowledge of CPI processes, strategic business planning, and executive support services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure seamless mission execution and coordination.
  • Manage and schedule meetings, including coordinating logistics, drafting agendas, capturing official minutes, and tracking action items to closure.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain content within Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to ensure accurate record-keeping, version control, and accessible collaboration spaces.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support coordination of production activities across departments and teams to maintain alignment and execution tempo.
  • Analyze and track supply chain performance metrics to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities; support on-time delivery and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address supply chain challenges and improve outcomes.
  • Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and develop strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and provide recommendations for disposition.
  • Support annual and wall-to-wall inventory efforts to improve accuracy and accountability.
  • Assist in the development, management, and continuous update of operational dashboards; build and maintain metric visuals (charts, graphs, status boards) to support leadership decision-making.
  • Track, analyze, and report deliverable metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with ongoing operations.
  • Develop and deliver recurring and ad-hoc briefings to leadership and stakeholders regarding operational status, deliverables, constraints, and metric performance.
  • Provide technical writing support to draft, review, edit, and format operational documentation, memos, SOPs, and formal reports.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft applications, Adobe, and databases to conduct analysis and generate reports and visuals.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to streamline operational, production, and supply chain processes.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including CPI efforts and Lean/Six Sigma projects, as applicable.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure priorities, deliverables, and constraints are clearly communicated and managed.
  • Assist with program reviews and provide input on material availability, production constraints, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
  • Provide executive support services and contribute to strategic business planning activities as required.
