Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in: Project Operations PMO Operations Professional Services Operations Resource Management Business Operations Operational Excellence
  • Experience supporting operations within a professional services, consulting, or technology services organization.
  • understanding of: Resource planning and utilization management Capacity forecasting Portfolio reporting Operational governance Professional services delivery models
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with PSAs, ERPs, CRMs, IT ticketing systems and project portfolio management systems.
  • Ability to translate operational data into meaningful business insights.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi-business-unit service organizations.
  • Experience with: Oracle NetSuite Oracle Suite Projects Pro Salesforce CRM UKG
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, PMI-PMOCP, or related operational certifications.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of the enterprise delivery operating model.
  • Administer governance processes, operational reviews, and delivery management standards across business units.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to enterprise delivery policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, templates, and governance documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with operational standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Facilitate operational review meetings and governance forums, tracking actions and driving accountability.
  • Support enterprise resource planning activities, including capacity tracking, demand analysis, and utilization monitoring.
  • Maintain resource availability, skill inventory, and workforce planning data.
  • Analyze resource utilization trends and proactively identify capacity risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with delivery leaders to improve forecasting accuracy and workforce deployment decisions.
  • Assist in balancing staffing demand across business units and service lines.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of operational dashboards and reporting capabilities in conjunction with business analysts.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Unit operational leads to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across operational reporting platforms.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Support organizational change management and process adoption efforts.
  • Drive documentation, training, and communication efforts for new operational practices.
  • Serve as a power user and operational administrator for delivery-related systems and tools.
  • Support ongoing optimization of PSA, ERP, CRM, and resource management platforms.
  • Assist with system enhancements, testing, process configuration, and user enablement activities.
  • Partner with IT and Business Systems teams to improve operational workflows and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor operational system data integrity and resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Partner with Delivery Managers, PMO leaders, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, and Business Systems teams to support operational objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business units and enterprise operational functions.
  • Support enterprise operational initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Assist in driving adoption of enterprise standards while respecting unique business unit requirements.
  • Serves as a operational partner to delivery and business leadership teams.
  • Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • May provide guidance and mentorship to junior operations team members.
