About The Position

The Business Analyst II will be responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day, per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, and aggregations for data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI (PBI), including dashboard development, DAX, and data modeling.
  • Strong background in reporting and analytics, with the ability to build operational and executive-level reports.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Proven ability to bridge business stakeholders and analytics/reporting teams, translating requirements into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
  • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
  • Assists in maintaining operational reports and documentation.
  • Applies tools and processes consistently across assigned tasks.
  • Collaborates with team members to support quality and operational goals.
  • Develops skills in analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
