About The Position
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Operating Services, monitors operators assigned to Pace vehicles including paratransit services to ensure safe, timely, and comfortable rides.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in public transportation.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to an automobile.
- Must be able to obtain a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with passenger air brake endorsement and without an air brake restriction.
- Must demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills: good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring standard operating procedures of operators assigned to Pace Service, including paratransit service.
- Documenting boarding and alighting counts on assigned bus trips.
- Assisting with the survey of routes and stops in the IBS system.
- Assisting with new carrier service contract start-ups, including training operating personnel.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
