About The Position

The Bus Driver at Crème de la Crème Westerville safely transports staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other approved locations. The role includes ensuring children’s safety and supervision during transport, following KinderCare and governmental regulations for child care, and keeping the Center Director informed about information related to children’s care and safety. The driver may assist with other daily center duties, transport the center vehicle for servicing, and attend staff meetings, center events, and parent or customer meetings as requested.

Requirements

• Have a current driver’s license with no more than three moving violations in the past three years and no alcohol- or drug-related convictions.
• Be at least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• Have CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Be able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Have good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds; this may be required to work in some classrooms or in the kitchen.

• At least two years of experience transporting children.

Responsibilities
