About The Position

Safely and compliantly drives a 44-seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points on the Fort Sill Army installation according to a schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort, complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents to the transportation motor pool (TMP). The position is full-time, on-site, and has variable shifts.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
Clean driving record for the past seven years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver's license.
Ability to lift 60 pounds and perform pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and work in tiring positions.

Nice To Haves

Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator.

Responsibilities

Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules.
Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
Coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
Comply with installation access and security requirements.
Maintain accurate records and logs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
