About The Position

Arc GLOW is hiring part-time Bus Drivers in Albion, Batavia, Mount Morris, and the surrounding Arc GLOW region. Drivers transport passengers on routes assigned by the Transportation Manager and are responsible for passenger attendance, vehicle safety checks, required records, and reporting incidents. All training and licensing requirements are paid by the organization. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and benefits including health insurance, company-paid life insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, and continuing education support.

Requirements

Comply with applicable motor vehicle and traffic laws.
Complete required training and maintain required certifications and/or professional license requirements.

Responsibilities

Comply with motor vehicle and traffic laws.
Drive routes as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
Perform a daily safety check on the vehicle before leaving the point of origin.
Record and submit required bus paperwork daily.
Pick up and deliver intra-agency mail where necessary.
Record daily attendance of all passengers.
Provide the Transportation Manager with information necessary for Article 19-A.
Notify the appropriate case manager or Transportation Manager of incidents or accidents occurring while responsible for passengers.
Conduct oneself in a manner that favorably represents Arc GLOW.
Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities as required.
Complete required training in accordance with agency policy and maintain required certifications and/or professional license requirements.
