About The Position
DAEOC is looking for passionate and responsible bus drivers to transport pre-school students to our area Head Start locations. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthful environment while transporting children and staff. Responsible for ensuring the security of the bus and that the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times. PT Bus Driving opportunities available or FT with benefits for a candidate who is willing to also provide custodial assistance in the center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
- Must be at least 25 years old (per requirements of insurance company).
- Must bring proof of degree (diploma or official transcript) if interviewed.
Responsibilities
- Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment while transporting children and staff.
- Ensure the security of the bus.
- Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
- Provide custodial assistance in the center (for FT position).
