About The Position

DAEOC is seeking dedicated individuals for bus driver positions to transport Head Start pre-school students. The role involves ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy environment during transportation. The driver is responsible for the security and mechanical upkeep of the bus. Full-time positions are available for candidates willing to also provide custodial assistance at the center, which includes benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance company requirements).
Must bring proof of degree (diploma or official transcript) if interviewed.

Responsibilities

Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment for children and staff during transport.
Ensure the security of the bus.
Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
Provide custodial assistance in the center (for full-time positions).
