About The Position

The Bulk Warehouse Operator is responsible for storing and distributing parts from the bulk parts warehouse to the dealer network. Reporting to the Corporate Warehouse Manager and working closely with the Inventory Control Manager and Carencro Parts Manager, the operator receives, organizes, stores, maintains, and distributes bulk parts. The role also maintains the route truck distribution system, including bulk-part distribution and the relay of non-bulk parts between locations. The operator prepares shipments and communicates logistical challenges to Parts Managers, customers, transportation providers, and suppliers. Daily cycle counts are conducted to help maintain inventory accuracy. The position operates in a field environment and routinely uses computers, phones, and other standard business equipment. Lifting more than 50 pounds may be required.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of warehouse experience.
Knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

Prior forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Carry out the bulk parts inventory process.
Load and unload freight.
Receive parts inventory into the business operating system.
Organize, store, locate, and maintain bulk parts inventory.
Distribute bulk parts inventory to the dealer network.
Conduct regular cycle counts of the bulk parts warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy.
Work with the Corporate Warehouse Manager to conduct 5S warehouse audits.
Conduct centralized route truck distribution activities.
Prepare shipments for network transfer daily.
Relay non-bulk shipments between stores on network routes daily.
Ensure route readiness each afternoon for next-day distribution.
Assist in maintaining route trucks and warehouse equipment.
Work with transportation providers and suppliers to schedule bulk inventory deliveries.
Help address parts inventory supply and delivery issues and find appropriate solutions.
Communicate with branches about regular parts distribution and resolve logistics issues.
Help improve business performance and distribution across parts warehouses.
Promote safety and contribute to compliance efforts.
Perform other tasks as needed.
