Buildings Electrical Engineering Intern
About The Position
Garver's Buildings Team is seeking a motivated electrical engineering or architectural engineering student with an electrical emphasis as an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in our Downtown Kansas City office. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders, learn about building power, lighting, and communications systems, and gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry. The Garver Launch Program is an immersive, hands-on intern development program designed to elevate the summer experience. Interns will engage daily with fellow interns and professionals to build their network, participate in Garver's wellness program, give back to the community through volunteer activities, and enhance professional growth through tailored training and programs.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing an electrical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with an electrical focus from an ABET accredited program
- Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with Revit
