About The Position

Garver's Buildings Team is seeking a motivated architecture student to join our team in Rogers, AR as an Architectural Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by experienced and licensed architectural professionals in the design, construction, and project management of facilities in both the public and private building sectors. Interns will collaborate with the design team to develop various project documents, including floor plans, elevations, technical building components, presentation drawings, and 3-dimensional renderings. The role also provides experience in collaborating with building-related engineers and specification development staff, exposure to sustainable design and construction practices, and an introduction to project construction administration, including project progress meetings, Requests for Information, and project observation and documentation. The Garver Launch Program is an immersive, hands-on intern development program designed to elevate the summer experience. Interns will engage with fellow interns and industry professionals, participate in Garver's wellness program, contribute to community through volunteer activities via Garver Gives, and enhance professional growth with tailored training and programs from Garver's Learning and Development team.

Requirements

  • Must only have one to two years remaining on your architecture degree from an NAAB accredited program by Spring prior to the internship term.
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in Architecture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

Responsibilities
