Here, you will make an impact by: Perform general building maintenance, including painting, minor repairs, fixture installation, basic plumbing, ceiling and door hardware repairs, and other facility upkeep tasks. Maintain outdoor grounds and property using equipment such as tractors and powered tools for mowing, weed control, irrigation repair, snow removal, sign installation, and general site cleanup. Complete custodial duties as needed, including cleaning floors, walls, windows, restrooms, cafeterias, carpets, and other common and production support areas. Support special cleaning and light maintenance projects in production areas, cleanrooms, and other plant support spaces. Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for preventive maintenance and repair of custodial, grounds, and facility support equipment; document completed work in maintenance systems and logs. Follow all safety, environmental, security, and training requirements, including proper waste handling, required certifications, and support of team training as needed. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).
  • Must be interested and available to day shift and overtime as required.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Menomonie, WI or plan to relocate prior to start.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
