About The Position
As a Building and Grounds Custodian with the BCBSWY Building and Grounds Team, you will play an essential role in ensuring best-in-class appearance of our facilities to members, employees, and members of the general public. As a Building and Grounds Custodian you will be responsible to maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail.
- Reliability.
- Good time management.
- Strong work ethic.
- Adaptability.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Building and Grounds).
Responsibilities
- Maintain and protect our facilities.
- Ensure the external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants.
- Be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.
- Occasional snow removal around doors and sidewalks.
