Buildings and Grounds Technician
About The Position
The Buildings and Grounds Technician is responsible for day-to-day general maintenance of Mountain Creek resort. The role includes plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs, preventative maintenance of systems such as heating and air conditioning, and troubleshooting and repairing resort systems. The technician responds to work orders and directions in a timely manner, works in various weather conditions when needed, and performs tree trimming as needed. The role collaborates with other departments to support resort objectives and requires safe work practices that protect the technician and others. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong plumbing and HVAC skills.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends in-season and overtime when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- Trade school education or 2–5 years of work experience in the field.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals as needed.
