Buildings and Grounds Technician
About The Position
The Buildings and Grounds Technician is responsible for day-to-day general maintenance and repairs throughout Mountain Creek Resort, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, as well as troubleshooting and repairing resort systems. The role also performs preventative maintenance on systems such as heating and air conditioning and responds to work orders and directions in a timely manner. The technician may work in all types of weather, trim trees as needed, and coordinate with other departments to support resort objectives. Work must be performed safely, protecting both the technician and others. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong plumbing and HVAC skills.
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Trade school education or 2–5 years of work experience in the field.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals as needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends during the season and overtime when needed.
