About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the East Career and Technical Academy. The role involves ensuring the facility is safe, clean, and operational for students and staff. This is a 12-month position with 8-hour workdays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in building maintenance, operations, or management.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.

• Vocational or technical training in a related field.
• Experience in a school or educational environment.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the facility.
• Ensure the building is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
• Manage maintenance and repair requests.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Supervise custodial and maintenance staff.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and security issues.
