About The Position
This position is responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles. Key responsibilities include performing routine groundskeeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape, performing minor plumbing and carpentry repair work, and regularly cleaning and sanitizing buildings as necessary. The role also involves sweeping, vacuuming, stripping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as sweeping sidewalks. Additionally, the position requires assembling and moving office furniture and monitoring building and grounds activities and visitors to ensure security.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two years of experience in handling minor building and maintenance repairs
- Good skill in the use of hand and power tools
- Valid State Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Performs routine groundskeeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape
- Performs minor plumbing and carpentry repair work
- Regularly cleans building and sanitizes as necessary
- Sweeps, vacuums, strips, mops and waxes floors
- Sweeps sidewalks
- Assembles and moves office furniture including chairs, desks, tables, bulletin boards, etc.
- Monitors activities and visitors of building and grounds to ensure security
