About The Position

NFM’s Overnight Building Maintenance Technician II maintains buildings, grounds, and equipment to help keep the business operating efficiently. The role works at a world-class facility and involves completing work orders, maintaining mechanical rooms and equipment, and performing a range of building and grounds maintenance tasks. The position requires an overnight rotating schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with night, weekend, or early morning hours based on business needs.

Requirements

• Able to work an overnight rotating shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• One year of building maintenance, custodial, general, or labor experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical or trade school classes in a related field.
• Basic carpentry skills and electrical knowledge.
• Painting skills and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Replace lights and ballasts in fluorescent fixtures and upgrade fixtures to higher-efficiency retrofits.
• Perform lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, landscaping, snow removal, and ice treatment.
• Paint, patch, and caulk building structures, rooms, and equipment.
• Complete work orders effectively and enter job notes.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and equipment.
