Building Maintenance Manager
About The Position
Starkey is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential homes, apartments, and commercial facilities while mentoring and developing a skilled maintenance team. This hands-on leadership role combines facility management, technical expertise, and employee development, giving you the opportunity to shape both our properties and the people who maintain them. From managing commercial HVAC systems and ensuring ADA-compliant environments to training technicians and coordinating major facility improvements, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact.
Requirements
- 7+ years of residential and commercial property maintenance experience.
- EPA Universal Certification (required).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
- Leadership, mentoring, or technical training experience.
- A passion for developing others and building high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations across residential and commercial properties.
- Mentor, coach, and train technicians in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and respond to emergency repair needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support facility improvements and major projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and regulatory standards.
- Play a key role in supporting Starkey's mission and the individuals we serve.
