This role is for a self-motivated, energetic individual who must possess the necessary skill sets required to assist with the maintenance and repairs of a building in order to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Mechanic.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and ability to comply with safety standards and procedures.
  • The ability to listen, understand and execute on assigned tasks.
  • The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
  • The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects that may be 25+ pounds.
  • The ability to see and hear details in order to identify and diagnose problems.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general interior building maintenance for the facility.
  • Perform daily facility inspections and report on existing conditions.
  • Monitor client security systems and space by performing tasks to ensure that hazards are not created. Escalate to the Maintenance Mechanic as necessary.
  • Identify lighting or equipment issues and perform minor repairs i.e., changing lightbulbs and water filters.
  • Support client moves by moving office furniture, equipment and other materials and delivering supplies as requested.
  • Participate in response to emergency situations.
  • Follow proper safety procedures when storing or using equipment or hazardous materials.
  • Assist with the Operational Compliance Program (OCP), complete technical and safety training as required.
  • Contribute to the account KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Update work order status in ticketing system.
