About The Position

This position performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance, repairs, and landscaping tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Duties include groundskeeping, seasonal snow removal, painting, Feed Mill cleaning, and routine maintenance support. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of prior maintenance or refrigeration experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash and empty trash receptacles.
• Mow and maintain grass areas and rake leaves.
• Perform routine maintenance on mowers and other lawn equipment.
• Trim hedges, maintain shrubbery, plant flowers, and trim trees.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and apply salt as needed.
• Perform general maintenance on grounds equipment and safely operate basic yard tools and lawn equipment.
• Perform painting duties at elevated heights using ladders and lifts.
• Clean the Feed Mill and assist with routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
