About The Position

High Steel Structures is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for first-shift operations. The position plans and performs a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment repairs, as well as building repairs, throughout fabrication shops and office areas. Work is assigned or performed according to established schedules, which may include some weekends and holidays. First-shift hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., plus every fifth Saturday morning. Overtime and weekend work may be needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and building maintenance.
• A valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of industrial or commercial maintenance/electrical experience.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience repairing VFDs, PLCs, CNC controls, and drives.
• Welding equipment and overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform electrical and mechanical equipment repairs.
• Perform building repairs across fabrication shops and office areas.
• Work on a variety of equipment, services, and structures according to assignments or established schedules.
