About The Position

Action Property Management is seeking a Full-time Temporary Building Engineer to join our team at our luxury association, West Ocean in Long Beach. The Temporary Building Engineer is will be responsible for helping move some long-standing projects forward. Someone with HVAC and plumbing experience is preferred.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of onsite high rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.
Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Building Code; HOA experience is a plus.
HVAC Certification EPA/608 License Fire Pump Certificate preferred Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.
Experience in fire system management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team player attitude.

Nice To Haves

Someone with HVAC and plumbing experience is preferred.
HOA experience is a plus.
Fire Pump Certificate preferred
Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining, correcting defencies, and/or making repairs to all common areas within the Association
Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory enforcement agencies.
Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical/electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC, and water circulation system.
Coordinate and interact with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs, as well as adherence to quality standards.
