Cadmus is seeking a Building Decarbonization Analyst to join its Energy Services team. The role is intended for candidates with 2–4 years of experience who want to combine fieldwork and technical analysis to advance energy efficiency and decarbonization in commercial and industrial facilities. The analyst will spend an average of 1–2 days per week in the field conducting ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits and inspections, engaging with facility staff, collecting site data, and identifying improvement opportunities for systems such as lighting, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and controls. A solid foundation in building energy systems is required, but deep expertise in every system is not expected. When not in the field, the analyst will support engineering desk reviews, energy-savings analysis, and measurement and verification (M&V) activities on projects in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Work includes reviewing equipment specifications, engineering calculations, and energy-savings estimates, as well as analyzing metered and operational data and applying established M&V approaches. The role offers the opportunity to develop experience across energy efficiency and decarbonization projects alongside experienced engineers and project teams. Cadmus is a technology-enabled strategic consulting firm with more than 1,300 experts serving government, commercial, and non-governmental organizations worldwide. The company describes its work as helping clients achieve their goals and create lasting impact through digital solutions and expertise. It offers competitive compensation, health care and retirement benefits, a collaborative work environment, and professional growth opportunities.
