Kinsley Construction is expanding its Building team out of its North East, MD location and is seeking experienced professionals for multiple roles including Concrete Working Foreman, Concrete Finisher, Concrete Carpenter, and Concrete Laborer. These roles involve various aspects of concrete construction, from leadership and hands-on finishing to carpentry and general labor support. Requirements

Previous experience directing a workforce is required (Concrete Working Foreman).
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials (Concrete Working Foreman).

Knowledge of use with nails, screws, staples, and adhesives as well as various hand and power tools such as circular saws, nail guns, sanders, tape measures, squares, levels, brooms etc. (Concrete Carpenter).

Responsibilities

Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 3 to 6 individuals (Concrete Working Foreman).
Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job (Concrete Working Foreman).
Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs (Concrete Working Foreman).
Ensure job sites are safe by implementing safe work practices (Concrete Working Foreman).
Ensure job sites and work practices follow OSHA rules and regulations (Concrete Working Foreman).
Effectively delegate responsibilities and individual tasks to crew members (Concrete Working Foreman).
Oversee and train new crew members (Concrete Working Foreman).
Communicate and report job status effectively (Concrete Working Foreman).
Utilize instruments for precise layout as needed (Concrete Working Foreman).
Communicate and interface with clients maintaining Kinsley’s reputation as first-rate contractor (Concrete Working Foreman).
Read drawings, plans, and blueprints, and conveying this information to others (Concrete Working Foreman).
Identify and research adequate resources, labor, and equipment, to complete projects efficiently (Concrete Working Foreman).
Operate general construction equipment such as skid steers, excavators, telehandlers, etc. (Concrete Working Foreman).
Set complex forms ensuring correct and high-quality finished product (Concrete Working Foreman).
Install and oversee the installation reinforcing rebar or mesh wire (Concrete Working Foreman).
Check and set concrete form for proper construction alignment (Concrete Finisher).
Operate a concrete rider trowels and walk-behind machines (Concrete Finisher).
Install reinforcing rebar or mesh wire as needed (Concrete Finisher).
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools such as straight edges, vibra screeds, walk behind and ride on trowel machines and hand trowels (Concrete Finisher).
Handling of wood, plastic, and other material (Concrete Carpenter).
Install windows, doors, cabinets, flooring and other various fixtures (Concrete Carpenter).
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards and ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures (Concrete Carpenter).
Familiarity with bracing, scaffolding and temporary structures (Concrete Carpenter).
Works on concrete foundations (Concrete Carpenter).
Hang and finish drywall (Concrete Carpenter).
Installs acoustic ceilings (Concrete Carpenter).
Follow blueprints and building plans (Concrete Carpenter).
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures (Concrete Carpenter).
Construct building frameworks- both metal and wood- including walls, floors, and door frames (Concrete Carpenter).
Ensure work site is safe and ready for concrete work (Concrete Laborer).
Construct and install wood or metal forms that shape concrete for foundations, sidewalks, slabs, walls and other structures (Concrete Laborer).
Operate mixers, follow mix ratios, transport concrete using wheelbarrows or pumps and pour it into prepared forms (Concrete Laborer).
Use tools like screeds, floats, trowels, and edgers to achieve the required surface texture and finish (Concrete Laborer).
Install rebar, wire mesh or other reinforcement systems to strengthen concrete structures (Concrete Laborer).
Operate power tools such as saws, grinders, compactors and vibrators (Concrete Laborer).
