About The Position

The Building Automation Systems Technician II provides controls databases, graphics, and programming for sequences based on direction from the Design Specialist, project specifications, or other applicable sources. The technician supports project start-up and commissioning, including point-to-point checkout, and works with BACnet MSTP and/or BACnet IP systems. The role also involves supporting and coordinating with installation personnel, contractors, and project managers at project sites. Experience with Distech, Alerton, and Tridium is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Tridium and/or Distech building controls, including field commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of BACnet MSTP experience with commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of experience with controls programming and building automation controls database management.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting basic electrical and electronic circuitry, including reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Distech, Alerton, or Tridium.

Responsibilities
