About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is hiring a Building Automation Systems Technician II to provide building-controls database development, graphics, and programming for sequences defined by a Design Specialist, project specifications, or other applicable sources. The technician performs system start-up and commissioning, including point-to-point checkout, and supports project teams at job sites. The role includes working with BACnet MSTP and/or BACnet IP systems and coordinating with installation personnel, contractors, and project managers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Tridium and/or Distech building controls, including field commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of BACnet MSTP experience involving commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of experience with controls programming and building automation controls database management.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting basic electrical and electronic circuitry, including reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Distech, Alerton, and Tridium.

Responsibilities
