About The Position

Broadway Cannabis Market is seeking a Budtender for its Beaverton store. The Budtender assists customers with recreational and medicinal cannabis needs, keeps supplies stocked, and processes sales during morning and early afternoon hours. This is a part-time, in-person position.

Requirements

• Valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• General knowledge of cannabis.
• Knowledge of OLCC sales limits.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice.
• Ability to understand and comply with safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, verify their age and legal identification, and recommend cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and strain effects.
• Educate customers about safe cannabis use and stay current on products, consumption methods, and industry trends.
• Process customer payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Weigh, package, and label cannabis products in accordance with OLCC regulations.
• Keep the dispensary floor and check-in area clean, organized, and stocked with cannabis and non-cannabis products.
• Process, fulfill, and close online and delivery orders.
• Monitor procedure updates and communicate daily through Slack.
