Budtender Part Time (Eaze)
About The Position
Green Dragon is a growing cannabis retailer with a production facility and stores throughout Florida. It is part of Vireo, a cannabis platform with roughly 4,500 team members, more than 1 million square feet of cultivation, and over 170 dispensaries across 10+ states. The Budtender promotes a positive, customer service-oriented work environment while following established policies and procedures. This in-person role supports customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and using product knowledge to improve customers’ in-store experience. The role also helps maintain store compliance, merchandising, inventory, and cleanliness. Compensation is $15 per hour.
Requirements
- Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
- Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work 8-hour day and night shifts, plus weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and obtain fingerprints within 72 hours of receiving an offer letter.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Reliable transportation to the store.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience in a retail store environment is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in customers in a friendly, welcoming manner and provide excellent service.
- Assist customers in the store and over the phone, and process online orders accurately.
- Encourage sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Use the POS system accurately and follow cash handling, safe audit, and change drop procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain familiarity with the training and compliance binder.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, including visible and current signage, price tickets, and marketing materials.
- Keep the store clean, neat, and well-stocked and complete general housekeeping duties.
