About The Position

The Budtender delivers an exceptional guest experience through personalized cannabis recommendations, product education, and outstanding customer service. The role supports daily dispensary operations by assisting guests, processing transactions, maintaining compliance with Arizona cannabis regulations, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient, and professional retail environment. The position reports to the Store Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in the cannabis industry.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Facility Agent Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to their needs, and make personalized recommendations.
• Explain differences between cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and concentrates, and how to use them safely.
• Check IDs to verify legal age, adhere to purchase limits, and follow state and local laws.
• Process transactions using a point-of-sale system and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with daily cleaning, stock shelves, and maintain accurate product inventory.
• Improve personal average order value month over month.
• Improve personal units per transaction month over month.
• Improve average daily sales month over month.
