About The Position

As a budtender, you are the face of Nectar and help ensure customers leave with the products they need and a positive experience that encourages them to return. The West Side Float works at locations west of the river, extending to Forest Grove. The role includes customer service, product recommendations, sales-floor and store upkeep, point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, and compliance with policies and procedures. The position starts at $16.80 per hour plus nightly cash tips.

Requirements

Must be willing to work weekends.
Must possess a Marijuana Workers' Permit or be able to obtain one at personal expense.
Must have reliable transportation to work.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Desire to learn about products and cannabis therapies.
Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
Able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for the entirety of a full shift.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic computer skills, point-of-sale software, and cash management.

Responsibilities

Provide educated product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Promote Nectar deals, the rewards program, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment.
Keep the sales floor properly stocked and the store well-maintained.
Promote a positive, customer-service-oriented work environment and follow established policies and procedures.
Maintain and expand knowledge of products, brands, and vendors.
Use Dutchie POS accurately for in-person sales and online or phone orders.
Handle cash accurately and apply discounts correctly.
Understand deals and promotions and explain them effectively to customers.
Accurately and confidentially enter recreational and medical customer information into the system.
Verify customer identification and/or medical cards before each sale to ensure compliance.
Perform other store duties as assigned by the Management Team, according to location and store needs.
