About The Position

Green Dispensary is a vertically integrated dispensary committed to providing high-quality cannabis products to the Nevada market. The Budtender is a sales-driven role focused on exceptional customer service and revenue growth. The position requires product knowledge, awareness of compliance requirements, and a proactive approach to upselling and cross-selling. The successful candidate is motivated to meet sales goals and contribute to store performance.

The role includes greeting and assisting customers, verifying identification, educating customers about cannabis products, making personalized recommendations, processing sales, and maintaining the sales floor and inventory. Budtenders also support inventory intake, curbside/express and delivery teams, and team workflow as needed.

The available schedule consists of afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays. Compensation is $15.00 per hour plus tips, which are not pooled. Benefits eligibility and other offerings are described in the posting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check as required by Nevada cannabis regulations for a CCB Agent Card.
• Must have or obtain a Las Vegas Metropolitan Sheriffs card (work card).
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability or willingness to meet performance-based sales metrics.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and competitive mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, bend, and carry products.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills and POS experience preferred.
• Previous cannabis or retail sales experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Verify customer identification and ensure transactions comply with Nevada regulations.
• Educate customers about cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and accessories.
• Provide personalized recommendations and actively upsell and cross-sell products.
• Meet and exceed daily, monthly, and yearly sales goals, including average order value and units-per-transaction targets.
• Conduct sales to increase basket size and maximize customer value.
• Accurately process transactions using the Dutchie POS system.
• Follow company standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restock needs to management.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Stay up to date on promotions, products, and pricing.
• Deliver customer service that reflects the Green Dispensary brand.
• Assist with inventory intake, labeling, and organization as needed.
• Support curbside/express and delivery teams when required.
• Communicate with team members and management to improve workflow and customer experience.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training sessions.
• Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with METRC regulations and product tracking.
• Stay current with required OSHA safety trainings and maintain proficiency in the Dutchie POS system.
• Follow Nevada state and local cannabis laws and company compliance protocols.
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
