About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Green Valley location. The role provides customer service and product recommendations to cannabis patients and customers. Candidates with customer service experience in retail or food service may be trained on cannabis. The position requires open availability for morning, mid, or closing shifts, including holidays, and a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts followed by two days off.

Requirements

Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restrictions.
Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
Comfort using a computer for the duration of the shift.
Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
Personal smartphone required; iPhone with iOS 14 or later or Android with OS 4.4 or later.
At least 21 years old.
Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience in retail or food service, such as at Starbucks or Target.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for new and returning clientele.
Develop sales and customer service skills through on-the-job training.
Ensure cleanliness and organization within the dispensary.
Complete tasks assigned by management promptly and efficiently.
