About The Position

MIRACORP is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services. The role develops and monitors departmental and project budgets, analyzes financial performance, and prepares information to support management decisions. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Must possess a SECRET personnel security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with budget development and monitoring.
• Financial analysis and forecasting skills.
• Variance analysis skills.
• Accuracy.
• Written reporting and presentation skills.

• Develop, monitor, and maintain budgets for departments and projects in alignment with organizational goals.
• Follow Quality Management System practices to support financial accuracy and accountability.

• Prepare and present detailed budget reports to senior management.
