This position plays an important part in building and reviewing budgets that guide major services within the Allegheny County Department of Human Services. The role supports planning, analysis, and coordination across several program offices.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Budget Analyst 2; or Three years of progressively responsible experience in technical budget administration work; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities
- Support the creation and review of yearly budgets for multiple program offices
- Examine requests, financial data, and documents to help guide budget decisions
- Estimate funding levels from state partners and county sources
- Guide and review the work of Budget Analyst 2 staff
- Prepare charts, reports, and summaries used for financial evaluations
- Work with agency partners to gather information needed for major budget submissions
