About The Position

The Clinical Behavior Support Services Coordinator provides operational, administrative, workforce, and program support for Behavioral Support Services. This position coordinates staffing, scheduling, training compliance, onboarding, quality assurance, and program operations to ensure effective and compliant service delivery. The Coordinator serves as a resource for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), clinical staff, clients, and families while supporting departmental initiatives, workforce development, and service continuity. The Coordinator supervises employee performance related to operational expectations, including attendance, professionalism, scheduling compliance, documentation timeliness, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. The Coordinator maintains active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and may provide direct behavioral support services as needed to address staffing shortages and support continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years in a behavioral support setting
  • Demonstrated experience supervising RBTs and/or managing behavioral programs
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral support services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and support program improvement efforts
  • Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and client confidentiality
  • Maintain active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support and oversight to RBT staff.
  • Monitor attendance, scheduling, productivity, workplace conduct, and policy compliance.
  • Address employee concerns and collaborate with leadership regarding staffing and employee support.
  • Participate in coaching, performance feedback, and operational performance reviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, professional development, and training compliance.
  • Coordinate and maintain staffing schedules to ensure service coverage and continuity of care.
  • Monitor staffing needs and arrange coverage for absences, vacancies, and schedule changes.
  • Assist with caseload assignments and workforce planning.
  • Support departmental initiatives, workflow processes, and program operations.
  • Track RBT certifications, renewals, required training, competencies, and continuing education requirements.
  • Maintain training and compliance records.
  • Coordinate educational opportunities, workshops, and staff development initiatives.
  • Monitor behavioral and operational data to support program effectiveness.
  • Track staffing, attendance, scheduling, training, and service-delivery metrics.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate employee, client, and program records.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, leadership, clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate communication and support coordination of services and program activities.
  • Promote client-centered approaches that preserve dignity, choice, and quality care.
  • Monitor compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and documentation expectations.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with maintaining service quality and operational consistency across programs.
  • Maintain active RBT certification.
  • Provide direct behavioral support services when necessary.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of the assigned BCBA when providing direct services.
  • Support continuity of care during staffing shortages or service interruptions.
