About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bridge Clerk/Researcher to support the Federal Bridge File Project. This role involves researching, compiling, auditing, and digitizing bridge documentation to ensure all files are complete and accurately maintained. The candidate will work across multiple systems, review historical “As-Built” records, and collaborate with archive teams to fill any gaps in documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience in file research, auditing, and digital document management
  • Knowledge of file conversion processes (TIF to PDF)
  • Strong Excel and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and compile bridge-related documentation
  • Audit files for accuracy and identify any missing information
  • Convert and digitize records (including TIF to PDF), and organize them within digital storage systems
  • Maintain daily tracking and assist with reporting as needed
  • Coordinate with internal teams and archives to resolve incomplete files
