About The Position

As a Brewery Operations Intern, you will be part of our Early Talent Program, which is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program. This program offers students exposure to the beverage industry, engagement in real-world problem-solving, and immersion in social and educational opportunities with other interns. The internship is a full-time summer position from May 3 - August 6 (Canada interns) and May 25 - August 6 (U.S. interns). Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses) during the summer internship to participate. Interns who successfully complete the program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company upon graduation.

Requirements

  • For Packaging, Supply Chain, Distribution and Technical Services, you are pursuing a mechanical, electrical, industrial, packaging or related engineering discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • For the Brewing department, you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in brewing, food science, science (chemistry, biology, microbiology), or chemical engineering

Responsibilities

  • Help the brewery meet their overall goals through the implementation of successful projects.
  • Design, plan, organize, schedule, and lead projects that may be focused around systems, process, and/or capital projects.
  • Apply project management principles and technical expertise to ensure projects are executed successfully to meet business objectives.
  • Serve as a resource to help support high-level technical issues within the Brewery.
  • Obtain a fundamental understanding of brewery operations with detailed knowledge of specific operations.
  • Understand and demonstrate the basic steps to implement a highly successful project from start to finish.
  • Gain an understanding of your field in a manufacturing environment from an operational improvement and project management perspective.
  • Development of project justifications (CBI’s).
  • Implementation of small plant project(s) from start to finish (system, capital or process based).
  • Environmental optimization initiatives and compliance.
