About The Position

Synergy Radiology Associates, a physician-led practice affiliated with Radiology Partners, is seeking a radiologist for a 100% breast imaging role at Memorial Hermann Cypress and Katy in the Houston area. The position offers a flexible three-, four-, or five-day work week, a predictable schedule with no evening or weekend call, and no general radiology requirements. The physician will work in modern facilities with recently upgraded mammography and ultrasound equipment, an updated surgery center, and Penrad reporting software. The role is supported by internal secretarial and operations teams available 24/7 and involves collaboration through multidisciplinary tumor board conferences. The breast imaging practice includes 2D and 3D tomosynthesis mammography, stereotactic and tomosynthesis biopsies, breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies, and wire and SAVI localizations. Internal and external moonlighting opportunities are available. Compensation is listed at $425,000–$650,000, with a $75,000 commencement bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Board eligible or board certified by the ABR or AOBR.
Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship training.
Active state medical license and ability to obtain additional licenses.

Responsibilities

Interpret a full spectrum of breast imaging studies, including 2D and 3D tomosynthesis mammography.
Perform stereotactic and tomosynthesis biopsies.
Perform breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies.
Perform wire and SAVI localizations.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team through tumor board conferences.
