About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist for a remote position within their nationally recognized academic health system. This role involves a 100% subspecialized breast imaging practice with flexible remote scheduling options. The radiologist will interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI within a dedicated breast imaging division. The position offers collaboration with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska’s only NCI-designated cancer center, and participation in a comprehensive breast imaging program accredited by the American College of Radiology and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Opportunities for resident and fellow education, mentorship, academic engagement, multidisciplinary breast conferences, and breast cancer care initiatives are available based on individual interests.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
• Completion of a breast imaging fellowship, or equivalent breast imaging training and expertise
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Nebraska
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and collaborative practice
• M.D.
• Board certified in Radiology
