About The Position

The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a 1.0 FTE fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist to join their thriving academic practice. The ideal candidate will be outstanding, team-oriented, and committed to clinical excellence with enthusiasm for education, research, innovation, and multidisciplinary patient care. This role is crucial for advancing the division’s clinical and academic missions within a highly specialized breast imaging group.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Completion of a one-year breast imaging fellowship with at least six months of dedicated breast imaging training.
  • Proficiency in image-guided breast procedures.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, emerging technologies such as contrast-enhanced mammography, molecular breast imaging, artificial intelligence, and breast cryoablation.

Responsibilities

  • Participation across the full spectrum of breast imaging and intervention, including digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, molecular breast imaging, image-guided needle biopsies, image-guided seed localizations, and other emerging breast imaging and interventional technologies.
  • Teaching radiology residents, breast imaging fellows, medical students, and other learners in clinical and multidisciplinary settings.
  • Serving as a mentor for personal, educational, and academic growth.
  • Contributing to clinical, translational, outcomes, and health-services research.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in breast surgery, medical oncology, pathology, radiation oncology, women’s health, genetics, and the multidisciplinary breast clinic.
  • Participating in resident and fellow education, multidisciplinary conferences, and breast tumor board.
