About The Position

The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a 1.0 FTE fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist to join their thriving academic practice. Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hologic mammography systems, GE ultrasound equipment, GE 3T MRI scanners, Epic electronic health records, Radiant RIS, and Visage PACS.

Responsibilities

  • Participation across the full spectrum of breast imaging and intervention, including digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, molecular breast imaging, image-guided needle biopsies, image-guided seed localizations, and other emerging breast imaging and interventional technologies.
  • Participate in resident and fellow education.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and breast tumor board.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in breast surgery, medical oncology, pathology, radiation oncology, women’s health, genetics, and the multidisciplinary breast clinic.
  • Contribute to the division's clinical, educational, and research portfolio.
  • Teach radiology residents, breast imaging fellows, medical students, and other learners.
  • Serve as a mentor for personal, educational, and academic growth.
  • Conduct clinical, translational, outcomes, and health-services research.
  • Conduct patient-centered and health-services research related to screening access and adherence, underserved populations, disparities, risk communication, clinical workflow, practice management, and the operational and financial performance of radiology services.
