About The Position

This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children's hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. Requirements

• Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
• Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida prior to employment

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Breast Imaging fellowship is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
• Breast ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Image-guided breast procedures, including: Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies, Stereotactic biopsies, Ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies
• Teaching and mentoring radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities
• Participation in scholarly and academic activities
