BREAST IMAGING RADIOLOGIST
About The Position
This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children's hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center based at a public university in Florida. Requirements
- Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida prior to employment
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Breast Imaging fellowship is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast MRI
- Image-guided breast procedures, including: Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies, Stereotactic biopsies, Ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies
- Teaching and mentoring radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities
- Participation in scholarly and academic activities
