About The Position
The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their renowned Department of Radiology. Requirements
- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Breast Imaging.
- A strong background in breast imaging modalities (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, image-guided biopsy).
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to diagnose and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients with breast conditions, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health system, including oncologists, surgeons, and pathologists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and comprehensive continuative care for patients.
- Provide patient education on health conditions, diagnostic procedures, and treatment options.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and interpretation of clinical research, especially in breast imaging and related fields.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Radiology by mentoring and teaching medical students and residents, the most current advancements in imaging techniques, and clinical practices.
