About The Position

The Department of Radiology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Breast Radiologist to join their thriving and collaborative breast imaging division. This position offers the opportunity to practice 100% Breast Imaging in the desirable suburban Boston area. The department is high-volume, performing over 40,000 screening and diagnostic exams annually, utilizing state-of-the-art technology such as Hologic SecurView® workstations, Brevera® biopsy system, and Magseed® localization technology. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including dedicated breast surgeons, and participation in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards. There are also opportunities for academic appointment at UMass Chan School of Medicine, leadership, research, and moonlighting in breast and general radiology. The position involves teaching and mentoring a breast imaging fellow and radiology residents. LHMC is a 344-bed tertiary teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, recognized for clinical excellence and academic leadership.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-Trained in Breast Imaging
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Radiology
  • Proficient in all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and intervention (stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies, and localization procedures)
