Breast Imaging Radiologist / Mammographer - Virtua - New Jersey
About The Position
Virtua Radiology is seeking an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist to support its comprehensive women’s imaging services. This role offers an opportunity to focus on high-quality breast imaging within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The position involves interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as performance of image-guided breast procedures. The radiologist will work closely with breast surgery, oncology, and women’s health teams and participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences. Ensuring compliance with MQSA and quality standards, and supporting patient-centered care with timely communication of results are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training and five or more years of experience in Breast Imaging
- MQSA-qualified
- Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure
Responsibilities
- Interpret breast imaging studies and perform interventional breast procedures
- Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with MQSA and quality standards
