About The Position

Haley & Bear American Bistro is seeking reliable line cooks to join their team in downtown Concord. This role involves preparing fresh, high-quality food in a clean and organized kitchen, supporting the restaurant, banquets, and catering events. • Prior kitchen, cooking, or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Non-slip shoes recommended
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
• Requires walking, sitting, and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and smelling
• Lifting up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of food, objects or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.

• Kitchen experience is preferred, but a strong attitude and work ethic matter too.

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items for the restaurant, banquets, and catering
• Work stations like grill, sauté, oven, and pantry
• Prep hot and cold food
• Follow recipes, portions, and plating standards
• Label, date, rotate, and store food safely
• Keep your station clean and ready
• Follow food safety rules
• Support the team during busy service
